KAJIAN STRUKTUR KOMUNITAS MAKROALGA DI PERAIRAN PANTAIKELURAHAN GATES NAN XX KECAMATAN LUBUK BAGALUNG KOTA PADANG

Penelitian makro alga dilaksanakan di Perairan Pantai Kelurahan Gates Nan XX Kecamatan Lubuk Bagalung Kota Padang. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengkaji parameter perairan dan mengkaji struktur komunitas makroalga.Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan April-Mei 2017. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif.Pengambilan sampel penelitian menggunakan metode purposive sampling dengan menggunakan transek kuadrat ukuran 1 m x 1 m. Hasil penelitian ditemukan di transek adalah jenis Padina australis dan Sargasum oligocytrum, jenis diluar dalam jumlah sedikit adalah Turbinaria ornate, Acanthophora spicifera, Caulerpa taxifolia, dan Boergesenia forbesii. Rata-rata kisaran suhu 29-320C, kisaran nilai salinitas 29-31‰, kisaran kedalaman 60-1,14 cm, kisaran nilai kecepatan arus 0,059-0,083 m/dtk, kisaran nilai pH 8, kisaran nitrat 0,05-0,13 mg/L dan kisaran fosfat 0,06-0,15 mg/L. Jenis Sargasum oligocytrum memiliki INP tertinggi yaitu sebesar 159 % dan jenis Padina australis memiliki INP dengan nilai 159 %.

ABSTRACT

The macro algae research was conducted in the coastal waters of hamlet Gates Nan XX Lubuk Bagalung subdistrict of Padang City. The objectives of the research were to study the parameters of the waters and to assess the structure of macroalgae communities. The research was conducted in April-May 2017. The method used was descriptive method. Using research sampling of purposive sampling method by using square transect size 1 meters x 1 meters. The results of the study were found in transect type of Padina australis and Sargasum oligocytrum, types of out in small quantities were Turbinaria ornate, Acanthophora spicifera, Caulerpa taxifolia, and Boergesenia forbesii. Average temperature range 29-320C, salinity range 29-31 ‰, the depth range is 60-1,14 centimeters, the current velocity value range is 0,059-0,083 meters/secounds, the pH value range 8, the nitrate range 0,05-0,13 millegrams/liters and the phosphate range 0,06-0,15 millegrams/liters. Type Sargasum oligocytrum has the highest Important Value Indeks of 159% and the type of Padina australis has an Important Value Indeks with a value of 159%.
