PERANAN PENGAWAS KETENAGAKERJAAN PADA DINAS TENAGA KERJA DAN TRANSMIGRASI PROVINSI SUMATERA BARAT

Abstract


Labor Inspection is a very important system in the enforcement or application of labor legislation. Labor Inspection is the activity of supervising and enforcing the implementation of the laws and regulations in the field of manpower. The labor inspector is performed by a Labor Inspection Officer who is competent and independent in order to ensure the implementation of labor laws and regulations, ranging from salaries under the Regional Minimum Wage (UMR), health insurance, and the problem of the number of Termination of Employment (PHK) without giving workers the right Such as severance pay and other rights. Problem formulation 1. How is the execution of duties and functions by the Superintendent of Manpower and Transmigration of West Sumatra Province? 2.What are the obstacles faced in the implementation of duties and functions by the labor inspector of the Office of Manpower and Transmigration of West Sumatra Province? 3. What efforts can be made in facing obstacles by labor inspectors of the Manpower and Transmigration Office of West Sumatra Province? Research method that writer use in writing this thesis is research of sociological law that is research conducted interview to get primary data, data collected ytang analyzed with qualitative analysis. The results of the research 1) the labor inspector has the duty to enforce the legislation, 2) the obstacles faced by the supervisor are from the internal and external of the supervisor itself, 3) the labor inspector gives guidance to the employers and workers / laborers.
