IMPROVEMENT OF MATHEMATICS LEARNING OUTCOMES OF STUDENTS APPLYING COOPERATIVE LEARNING TYPE AUDITORY INTELLECTUALLY REPETITION 8thIN CLASS SMPN 27 PADANG
The purpose of this study is to determine the activity and students' improvement in learning mathematics by applying cooperative learning type Auditory Intellectually Repetition. The hypothesis in this research is that the improvement of mathematics learning outcomes of students in applying cooperative learning type Auditory Intellectually Repetition is higher than the improvement of mathematics learning outcomes of students in applying ordinary learning. The type of this research is an experimental. The population in this research are 8thof class students SMPN 27 Padang year lesson 2016/2017.
Student activity in learning mathematics in the experimental class were generally higher than students who studied mathematics in control classes. It can be seen from students who pay attention to teacher, can explain the subject matter, students answer the questions given by the teacher, students ask and draw conclusions from the subject matter learned.
From the date analysed it can be concluded that the improvement of mathematics learning outcomes of students applying cooperative learning type Auditory Intellectually Repetition 8thin class SMPN 27 Padang is higher than students' improvement applying ordinary learning. Based on the research, the researcher suggest to mathematic teachers to apply cooperative learning of AIR type in learning mathematics as one of alternative to increase activity and result of learning mathematics.
