SUMMARY

 

Based on observation that the authors did in the SMPN 12 Padang  obtained on the learning process teachers have used a scientific approach. Teachers have given stedents the opportunity to ask question about material they have’nt understand. But they are still hasitant to ask question and it’s difficult to express the questions they have. At the time of the learning took place, they are still many students who are less serious study. To overcome these circumstances, the authors conductted a study with the  title “The Implementation Of Active Learning Strategy Type Question Student Have (Qsh) In Learning Mathematics Students Class Viii Smpn 12 Padang”.

The purpose of this research is to know the development of student's skill during applying active learning strategy type Question Student Have, and to compare the result of learning mathematics of student applying active learning strategy type Questions Student Have with learning result learn mathematics Students by applying regular learning to grade VIII students of SMPN 12 Padang.The type of research used is experiment research. The population in this study were students of class VIII SMPN 12 Padang year lesson 2016/2017. The sample in this research is class VIII.2 as experiment class and class VIII.3 as control class.

Student’s questioning skills in the experiment class experienced and decreased insignificant at each meeting. While the results of student learning in both classes of sample research, after hypothesis testing obtained = 3,60 and db=1 with . Therefore means rejected and accepted. It can be concluded the results of learning mathematics is taught by applying active learning strategy type Question Student Have better than the results of learning mathematics is taught by applying regular learning.
