SUMMARY

This rational of this study is students low learning outcomes caused by majority students tense to talk than study. When the material exposure, they just listen, not a lot of notes. The purpose of this study is to examine whether the results of learning mathematics students learning implementing Listening Team learning strategies along with Reward is better than students who study us usually. Hypothesis in this research is the result of learning mathematics of student applying of Listening Team learning strategy along with giving Reward better than result of learning mathematics of student applying ordinary learning in learning mathematics of student of class VII SMPN 2 Padang.

Random Sampling technique was selected, to select a class as sample. Selected VII4 was selected with 34 students as experimental class and VII6 with 34 students as control class. Hypothesis test of student learning outcomes was analyzed by using t-test.

From data it can be concluded that the results of learning mathematics of students using Listening Team Strategy accompanied by Reward is better than ordinary learning.
