PENERAPAN PENDEKATAN PENDIDIKAN MATEMATIKA REALISTIK DALAM PEMBELAJARAN MATEMATIKA SISWA KELAS VII SMPN 2 KECAMATAN PAYAKUMBUH
Mathematics learning tends to be still one way, this is seen from the lack of students involved in learning, so that the interaction between students with students and students with teachers less well done. This study aims to see the level of students' understanding of the material learned by applying the Realistic Mathematics Education Approach in the accompanying quiz in grade VII SMPN 2 PayakumbuhSubdistrict and to know the results of learning mathematics learning applying Realistic Mathematics Education approach in Class VII SMPN 2 Payakumbuh District.
The hypothesis in this study is the result of learning mathematics of students whose learning applying the approach of Realistic Mathematics Education (PMR) is better than the result of learning mathematics that apply regular learning in grade VII SMPN 2 PayakumbuhSubdistrict.
The type of this research is experimental research. The population in this study are all students of class VII SMPN 2 Payakumbuh District consisting of two classes of normal homogeneous. Based on the data of the students' learning outcomes in the two sample classes, after hypothesis testing with t-test at α = 0,05, it is obtained thitung < t (0.95: 51) that is 2,3127> 1,664 then receive H1 . So it can be concluded the result of learning mathematics students after applying Approach of Realistic Mathematics Education (PMR) better than result of learning mathematics student applying ordinary learning to student of class VII SMPN 2 KecamatanPayakumbuh year lesson 2016/2017.
