. Relationship Motivation Learning with Science Results Student Class IV SDN 43 Sungai Sapih Padang

Education is a primary necessity that every human must possess. According to Susanto (2014: 84) Education is an organized, planned and continuous effort throughout life to nurture students into paripura, adult, and cultured people. To achieve this guidance the principle of education should be oriented to the development of all aspects of potential students, including cognitive, affective, and implicate aspects of psychomotor.

According Sugiyono (2009: 80) population is a generalization region consisting of the object or subject into a certain quantity and karasteristik set by the researcher. So it can be said that the population is all objects that have the same properties. The population in this study is all students of class IV in SDN 43 Sungai Sapih Padang. Samples taken as many as 49 students of class IV with the technique of taking using Purposive sampling technique. According Sugiyono (2009: 81), states that "The sample is part of the number and characteristics possessed by the population.

This study aims to determine the motivation of learning science IPA grade IV SDN 43 Sungai Sapih Padang and a significant relationship between learning motivation with science learning outcomes in the cognitive domain of fourth graders SDN 43 Sungai Sapih Padang. This research is a type of descriptive correlational research. Data were collected by questionnaire research instrument. Of the 30 items tested, there are 28 valid questions. Data analysis technique used is product moment correlation. The results showed that the average student's learning motivation as much as 74.1 and average student learning outcomes as much as 71.5. Price correlation coefficient between learning motivation (X) and learning result (Y) r arithmetic is 0.323. The price of probability probability is 0,024 with alpha 0,05. This means the probability value is less than the alpha level of 0.05. For comparison H0 is rejected and H1 accepted.

The average learning motivation of fourth grade students of SDN 43 Sungai Sapih Padang is 71.55, the average of fourth grade students of SDN 43 Sungai Sapih Padang is 74.06. Price correlation coefficient between learning motivation (X) and learning result (Y) r arithmetic is 0.323. The price of probability probability is 0,024 with alpha 0,05. This means the probability value is less than the alpha level of 0.05. For comparison H0 is rejected and H1 accepted. It is expected that the students to further improve the learning outcomes, so that what has been learned can improve students' learning motivation.
