Module Development in Basic Programming Subjects for Class X TKJ in SMK Negeri 2 Padang.

Based on observations and formal interviews conducted with subject teachers and TKJ students in SMK Negeri 2 Padang, particularly in Basic Programming, the information was obtained that the basic programming subjects were still centered on the teacher, because there were no print modules to guide students. The purpose of this study is to develop valid and practical modules on basic programming subjects for class X TKJ in SMK Negeri 2 Padang. This type of development research uses the Research and Development (R&D) method. This Basic Programming Module aims to help teachers and students facilitate the learning process of basic programming. The testing process is done through a validity test by a validator who understands the learning module and practical test by distributing questionnaires to students to determine the Modules in Basic Programming Subjects for Class X TKJ that are valid and practical. The module development procedure starts with gathering information in the field through the teacher and students, the initial design of the product is to create a storyboard. The product feasibility testing phase is carried out with product validation by two experts. Data collected by practicality test. The results showed that the product was declared valid by obtaining an average value of 94%, while the practicality value was 84%. From these values it can be concluded that the Basic Programming Module is said to be feasible, so that it can help students in the learning process both at school and at home.
