ABSTRACT

A device that has functions like evaporator which consists of a series of circular aluminium plate for the evaporation process has been studied in a traditional sugar cane distillery in the village of Tigo Balai. This device was tested in the cauldron cooking sap from sugar cane that produces significantly faster evaporation process.This device is tested on a cooking pot of sugarcane juice that results in a faster evaporation process. The effect of cylindrical plate with a distance of 4 cm gives 47% faster results in accelerating the cooking time of cane juice.
