KETERAMPILAN MENULIS TEKS BERITA SISWA KELAS VI SDN 04 TALANG ANAU KECAMATAN GUNUANG OMEH KABUPATEN LIMA PULUH KOTA

Abstract

This research is motivated by related issues in writing, especially in writing news texts. First, the difficulty of students putting together sentences that form a single unit in the paragraph. Secondly, students cannot write news texts based on news elements. This research aims to describe the news text writing skills of Grade VI students of SDN 04 Talang Anau, viewed from the news elements, and capital letters. This type of research is quantitative by using descriptive methods. The population of SDN 04 Talang Anau students is 129 students. Sampling was done by cluster random sampling that is randomly by drawing. The result is a sample in a study of grade VI students of SDN 04 Talang Anau, totaling 25 samples. Research instruments in the form of performance tests. The data analysis step is carried out by: 1) Checking the absence and completeness of student data. 2) Checking the results of news text writing skills based on aspects of assessment. 3) Change the score to a value. 4) Classify the data that has been collected using a scale of 10. 5) Explain the results of writing news text skills. Based on data analysis, it can be concluded that the average score of news text writing skills using grade VI SDN 04 Talang Anau students is very good with an average mastery of 87.30 in the range of 86-95%. Viewed from the aspect of the news element (5W1H) is considered perfect with an average mastery of 96 in the range of 95-100%. Judging from the use of punctuation quite well with an average mastery of 94 in the range of 86-95%.
