Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of applying cooperative learning model Group Investigation on student learning outcomes on learning Civics. The type of this research is experimental research with research design "randomized control group posttest only design". The population in this study is all students of class V SDN 22 Sungai Lansek which  amounted to 40 people. The sample in this research is the students of class V A and V B that the sampling method uses Purposive sampling. The data collected in the form of student learning outcomes. Data collection techniques in this research using the test. The test used is an objective test. Data obtained from statistical test. The outcomes of the research on the test of students' learning outcomes showed that the average score of Civics learning outcomes in the experimental class is 83.5 and the control class is 76.5. Hypothesis testing using t-test shows tcount> ttable, with tcount value of 2,21 and ttable value equal to 1,68 at significant level significant 0,05. Based on the results of this study can be concluded that there is influence of learning outcomes of students of experimental class learning Civics by using Group Investigation research model.
