PENINGKATAN HASIL BELAJAR PADA PEMBELAJARAN BAHASA INDONESIA DENGAN MENGUNAKAN MODEL THINK TALK WRITE DI KELAS V SDN 31 TELUK BAYUR PADANG

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to improve the activity of speaking and learning outcomes of students in learning Indonesian using Think Talk Write model in class V SDN 31 Teluk Bayur, Padang City. This type of research is a classroom action research. This study was conducted in two cycles, each cycle consisting of two meetings and one final test cycle. The subjects of this study are students of grade V SDN 31 Teluk Bayur, which amounted to 20 people. The research instrument used is observation sheet of student activity, observation sheet of teacher aspect in learning, test of cognitive student learning result and camera. Based on the test of cognitive students learning outcomes in cycle I with an average of 69 with a percentage mastery 55% while in cycle II obtained an average of 76.75 with percentage with a percentage of completeness of 85% and increased in cycle II to 79.75. Based on the result of observation sheet of students 'speaking activity, the percentage of students' speaking activity in cycle I 69.99% increased to 87.49% in cycle II. While the percentage of completeness in cycle I 55% and increased in cycle II 85%. This means that learning Indonesian by using Think Talk Write model can improve the speaking activity and student learning outcomes in class V SD Negeri 31 Teluk Bayur. Based on the results of this study, researchers suggest that teachers can use Think Talk Write model in learning to improve the activity of speaking and student learning outcomes.
