PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE NUMBERED HEAD TOGETHER PADA HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA SISWA KELAS V SDN 15 SUNGAI GERINGGING

Abstract

This study aims to compare the proportion of students who achieve

mastery

learning mathematics learning applying cooperative

learning model type Numbered Head Together higher than the

proportion of students who achieve mastery learning mathematics

learning using conventional models on students class V SDN 15

Sungai Geringging.This research is experimental research, with

population of this research is class V student SDN 15 Sungai

Geringging academic year 2016/2017 consisting of 2 classes. The

sample was taken using the total sampling technique chosen at

random using lottery lottery.From the first draw was selected class

Vb as the experimental class and the Va class as the control class.

The learning result was obtained by giving the final test on the two

sample classes consisting of 20 objective questions. Then the result

of student test is analyzed by hypothesis test using formula x2.

Obtained x2 count = 5.15 and db = 1 in x2 table = 3.84 Obtained

1/2 (0.02) <p <(1) / 2 (0.05) or 0.01 <p <0.025.Therefore, p <0.05

means accept H1. Thus, it can be concluded that the proportion of

students who achieve mastery learning mathematics learning using

cooperative learning model type NHT is higher than the proportion

of students who achieve mastery learning mathematics learning

using conventional learning. So it can be applied for the

achievement of optimal results on student learning outcomes.

Therefore it is expected that the classroom teachers can use

cooperative learning model type Numbered Head Together as one

of the models in learning mathematics in all elementary school

students.
