Abstract

Class action research has been done to improve the ability of students to learn the IPA effectively and improve achievement of learning and mastering basic concepts that are more mature about teaching science, so constraints faced during this special deals with devices rated IPA lectures too academically that change in a student's class performance, streamline and facilitate students in Learning the fundamental concepts of natural science. This research was conducted on the odd semester 2008/2009 against University students PGSD FKIP Bung Hatta structure learning (SCL). Results of the study could increase the value of the students shown by increasing the confidence of students and ketidakyakinan students have higher against's familiarity with the basic concept of IPA then her confidence growing. In addition, the hope that the study will be conducted with the development of learning materials to be more meaningful. From the results of research learning visible elevated value justifies the value of students from the regular methods (classic): 44.2 increased to 82.62. Expected for learning developers can implement the SCL, changing the paradigm of teaching into learning paradigm, cultivate the ability and attitude to do the appropriate professionals in associated costs.
