Abstract

Unoptimized learning processs, dominated by teachers and students are less involved in the learning process , resulting in student learning outcomes IPA Elementary School No. 28 Batang Anai, Pariaman is  low . For research to be done in order to describe the risult increase in revenue fourth grade students learn IPA Elementary School No. 28 Batang Anai, Pariaman . Types of research are studies classroom  action ( PTK ) , the research subject is the fourth grade students in Elementary School No. 28 Batang Anai  Pariaman . The study consisted of two cycles each cycle with three meetings and one-time test . Research instrument purporting to test the question of student learning , observation sheet aspects of teachers and students . The results showed that the average student learning outcomes in the first cycle of 6.6 with 54 % completeness student learning then there is an increase in the second cycle with an average value of 9.5 and 71% of students studying consistency . It can be concluded that the type STAD of cooperative learning model to improve learning outcomes of experimental IPA fourth grade students Elementary School No.  28 Batang Anai Pariaman.
