Shaping the character of a nation can be done through "to be a professional teacher" (becoming a professional teacher). Professional teachers should have four competencies - pedagogic competence (the ability of a teacher to understand the characteristics or capabilities of the students through a variety of ways), personality (the ability of teachers to reflect the personality of the good in yourself, be prudent and wise, mature and authoritative and have a noble character to be good role models), professional (teacher's ability to master the learning material is broad and deep), and social (the ability of good teachers to communicate with students and all educational staff or also with parents / guardians of students and local communities). The fourth competency must be owned by a teacher. By having four competencies will shape the character of the teacher. Teacher character that will be able to shape the character of the nation.
