Religious education is a conscious and planned effort in preparing learners to know, understand, appreciate to faith, devoted, and noble in the teachings of Islam from its main source of scripture Al Qur an and Hadith, through the activities of guidance, teaching, training, and the use of experience, both in the Elementary School, Middle School, as well as in universities. Special Elementary School Religious Education will determine the future of the child at all, because the religious education can shape the character or the character of the child as a citizen in the life of nation and landless water. Elementary School religious education and its implementation have an important role in the mental development of students in order to form a noble character, a good example and can create the atmosphere of a religious school, familiarize students for devout worship, cooperation and caring with each other in terms of goodness. Education Islam in elementary school was instrumental in shaping the character of the nation, namely the quality of collective behavior nationality typical well reflected in the awareness, understanding, sense, initiative, and the behavior of nation and state as a result of a thought, though the heart, though the feeling and intention, as well as the exercise of a person or group of people. Character formation is a collective effort-systemic a nation state to realize the life of the nation in accordance with the basic and ideologies, constitutions, state policy, as well as its collective potential. Formation is done holistically are not separated from life context of national, regional, and global civilized to form the nation's tough, competitive, noble, moral, tolerant, and work together, patriotic, dynamic, cultured, based on Pancasila as the foundation and philosophy in state and nation.
