Abstract
The purpose ofthe study influence motivationanddiscipline on the government employee performanceat theRegional Employment Board ofthe Mentawai Islands. In this study have use45 people of the activityemployeesatthe Regional Employment BoardMentawai Islands. The sampling processes done usingcensussamplingmethod. Typesof data used areprimary data,obtainedthroughquestionnairesto the respondents who justification categories. In this studyusedtwocategories ofvariables. The firstindependentvariableconsistsofmotivationanddiscipline. The seconddependent variable isthe performance ofcivil servants. Toperformthedata processingstepsusedmethodsof quantitative analysisusingmultiple linearregression modelandt-test statistics.Based onthe results ofthe firsthypothesis testingfoundthatmotivationsignificantly influencethe performance ofcivil servantsinMentawaiDistrictPersonnel Board. The secondhypothesis isthat thedisciplinehad founda significant effect onthe performance ofcivil servantsinMentawaiDistrictPersonnel Board.
