ANALISIS SEKTOR EKONOMI UNGGULAN KABUPATEN TANAH DATAR SUMATERA BARAT

Abstract

This research aims to find out which sector is the leading/based sector in Tanah Datar Regency. The method used is Location Quotient (LQ), Dynamic Location Quotient (DLQ), Shift-Share, and Klassen Typology. The results of the Location Quotient (LQ) analysis research from 12 economic sectors in Tanah Datar Regency, there are 5 basic sectors, namely agriculture, forestry and fisheries, processing industry, air supply, waste and waste processing, construction, and health services and social activities. The results of the Dynamic Location Quotient (DLQ) analysis show that Tanah Datar Regency has 8 leading sectors, namely Agriculture, forestry and fisheries, processing industry, construction, wholesale and retail trade, car and motorbike repairs, financial and insurance services, educational services, health services and social activities, and other services. The results of the Shift-Share Analysis of sectors that have competitive value are processing industry, electricity and gas procurement, educational services, mining and tastes, health services and social activities. It is hoped that the results of the Klassen Typology analysis will provide the right policies to help underdeveloped sectors develop and contribute to the economy in Tanah Datar Regency.
