Abstract

This research aims to see the influence of product quality, price perception and
motivation toward the decision of purchasing the motorcycle of Honda Tiger in Padang City.
The samples of this research were 100 respondents who bought and used the motorcycle of
Honda Tiger in Padang City. The choice of sample was done by accidental sampling method.
The type of data to this research used primary data. In this research, the researcher used two
categories of variables; first, independent variable consisted of product quality, price
perception and motivation. Second dependent variable, decision of purchasing. The stages of
data processing used multiple linear regression model and t-statistical test. Related to the
result of hypothesis can be summarized that the quality product have significant influence,
while the price perception and motivation did not have significant influence toward the
decision of purchasing Honda Tiger in Padang City.
