Abstract

In an effort to accelerate economic growth , the Government of Indonesia also make every effort to stimulate sectors that are considered to have the opportunity to increase national economic growth . One such sector is the tourism sector which is expected to be a source of foreign exchange earnings and the national economy . Particularly the West Sumatra provincial capital of Padang which has made the development of tourism , especially in Padang Beach Tourism . This study aims to Examine the impact of Padang Beach Tourism Development on the business street vendors after cultivation. Ascertain constraints faced by street vendors of operating in tourism area Padang. Test performe using Mc Nemar Test. Development Area Tourism Padang has a significant impact on the increase in income, employment, hours of work, pricing, sales, profits and production costs due to the addition of Area Development Tourism Padang.
