PERAN PSIKOLOGI CAPITAL, EMOTIONAL INTELEGENCE DAN ACADEMIC STRESS TERHADAP ACADEMIC PEFORMANCE PADA MAHASISWA UNIVERSITAS BUNG HATTA

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh Psychological Capital (PsyCap), Emotional
Intelligence (EI), dan Academic Stress terhadap Academic Performance mahasiswa Jurusan
Manajemen Universitas Bung Hatta. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif
dengan desain penelitian survei. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh mahasiswa aktif Jurusan
Manajemen Universitas Bung Hatta. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan menggunakan rumus
Slovin dengan tingkat kesalahan 5%, sehingga diperoleh sampel sebanyak 211 responden
Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan metode regresi linear berganda dengan bantuan
perangkat lunak SPSS. Berdasarkan uji hipotesis parsial (uji t), diperoleh hasil sebagai berikut:
(1) Psychological Capital berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Academic Performance
H₁ diterima. (2) Emotional Intelligence berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Academic
Performance H₂ diterima. (3) Academic Stress tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap
Academic Performance H₃ ditolak. Hal ini mengindikasikan bahwa mahasiswa pada sampel
penelitian ini telah memiliki mekanisme koping yang memadai sehingga stres akademik yang
dialami tidak sampai mengganggu kinerja akademik secara signifikan.
