PENGARUH KARAKTERISTIK KOMITE NOMINASI TERHADAP BOARD DIVERSITY PADA PERUSAHAAN GO PUBLIK INDONESIA

Abstract

The aim of this research was to examine whatever the gender diversity and nationality diversity at nomination committee influence toward board diversity. Data of this research was taken from annual report which is published on the Indonesian Stock Exchange (BEI) during 2010–2012 in website www.idx.co.id, and also data corporate governance from the Indonesia Institute for Corporate of Directorship (IICD). Method of taking sample used purposive sampling where sample was selected based on certain consideration. The data analysis used logistic regression.

The result of this research showed that the position of gender diversity at nomination committee have significant influence toward board diversity and there were not influence the existing nationality diversity at nomination committee toward board diversity.
