Abstract

This study aimed to examine the analysis of transformational leadership style, work
ethic to employees working performance. The study sample consisted of 84 people of staff
insurance AJB branch Dumai. This study used a questionnaire method (questionnaire),
intended to obtain primary data. statistical methods to test hypotheses by using multiple
regression with SPSS ver. 16.0 as a data processing tool.
The results showed that the variables variable transformational leadership style has
an influence positive and significant to the employe performance and the work ethic variables
have an influencempositively and significant in the performance. The result shows that
simultaneously the variable of the transformational leadership has powerful effect the which
is explained by Fcount –0,167, and significant level 0.034, can be known in t test, the variable
of the work ethic also hasmajor effect to the performance 1,197 and significant level 0.000 I
have to the researcher concludes that transformational leadership and work ethic variable
effect on the employees work performance.
