Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of quality of product, Price, Promotion, Motivation and Perception on purchasing decision of Pertamax in Padang city. The population in this study were all consumen who is buy Pertamax. The sampling technique is accidental sampling, while the number of samples for the analysis was 120 people. Technique data analysis for testing hypotheses is multiple linear regression. The results found that the quality of product, Price, Promotion, Motivation and Perception are include on purchasing decision. quality of product has a dominant influence on purchasing decision, and perception does not affect the purchasing decision of Pertamax in Padang city. The influence of quality of product, Price, Promotion, Motivation and Perception on purchasing decision of Pertamax in Padang city is 8,7%, while the remaining 91,3% is influenced by other variables that are not included in the scope of this study.
