IDENTIFIKASI PERTUMBUHAN EKONOMI DI PROVINSI SUMATERA BARAT (Periode 1995-2012)

Abstract

Economic growth is one of main factors of economic development. The main purpose of this study was to examine the impact of investment, educational level, the amount of labor, government expenditure and economic growth of west Sumatera province. The writer use secondary data type time series in this research from 1995 until 2012 that were obtained from the central agency statistics of west Sumatra province and the capital investment coordinating board of west Sumatra province. The results of this research show that there is a negative and in significant from the investment, the positive correlation and insignificant from the level of education and positive correlation and significant relationship of the amount of labor and government spending on economic growth in the province of west Sumatra.
