KAJIAN INDEKS PEMBANGUNAN MANUSIA (IPM) DI PROVINSI SUMATERA BARAT

Abstract

Human Development Indeks is a composite index that is used to measure the mean’s achievement of a country that includes three main points of human development, as follow : firstly, life time that is measured by the age, secondly, knowledge that is measured by reading-writing ability of adult and the mean’s school period, thirdly, standard of life that is measured by income per capita.The purpose of this research is to know how the influence of variable goverment’s outcome in education, health, and regional gross domestic product sectors toward human developmentindex in West Sumatera province as long as 2000-2012.

The was given by using multiple linear regression analysis, classic assumption test (normality test, autocorrelation test, heteroscedasticity test, multicollinearity test), statistic test (R2 test, t-test, F-test).The result of research was outcome of education and health sectors had positive correlation and it did not have influence toward human development index, while regional gross domestic product had positive correlation and it influanced human development index in West Sumatera province.
