PENGARUH PERTIMBANGAN PASAR KERJA, PENGAKUAN PROFESIONAL DAN PENGHARGAAN FINANSIAL TERHADAP PEMILIHAN KARIR SEBAGAI AKUNTAN

Abstract

In this modern era, the selection of a career become an important thing to think about, because the competition that will be pursued after graduate will be very tight. Therefore, accounting students from the beginning should have been thinking about what career would they have later.

This research aims to proving empirically the influence of labor market considerations, professional recognition and financial reward for choosing a career as an accountant for accounting students. In this study, the sample used is accounting student at the Bung Hatta University, Eka Sakti University, Putra Indonesia University, Andalas University and Padang State University. Using purposive sampling method in sampling.

The research proves that the labor market considerations and financial rewards significantly influence the selection of a career as an accountant for accounting students. While professional recognition does not significantly influence the selection of a career as an accountant for accounting students.
