Pengaruh Ketidakpastian Lingkungan Dan Karakteristik Wirausaha Terhadap Kinerja Umkm Dengan Kompetensi Wirausaha Sebagai Variabel Moderating

Abstract

This study aims to demonstrate empirically the effect of environmental uncertainty and entrepreneurship characteristic to the performance of SMEs with entrepreneurial competence as a moderating variable (Empirical studies of SMEs in West Sumatra). The study was conducted in West Sumatera, and the respondent was the employer of SMEs. In this study, the writer used the purposive sampling method and slovin formula to determine the sample size, so the number of the respondents could be 92 respondents.  The data which was used in this study was a primary data in the form of a questionnaire which was given directly to the respondents. The data analysis technique that was used in this research was multiple linear regressions.                Based on the analysis result of this study, the environmental uncertainty affected the performance of SMEs,the entrepreneurship characteristic affected the performance of SMEs,the entrepreneurial competence affected the performance of SMEs, the environmental uncertainty moderating by entrepreneurial competence affected the performance of SMEs,and the entrepreneurship characteristic moderating by entrepreneurial competence affected the performance of SMEs.
