THE EFFECT OF JOB SATISFACTION, ORGANIZATIONAL COMMITMENT AND WORK STRESS ON EMPLOYEE TURNOVER INTENTION IN PT. CAPELLA MEDAN PADANG BRANCH

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of job satisfaction, organizational commitment and
work stress on employee turnover intention in PT. Capella Medan Padang Branch. The sample in
this study were employees of PT. Capella Medan Padang Branch numbering 69 people. Techniques
used in sampling is a method of census data used is primary data through questionnaires. Data
analysis method used is multiple linear regression analysis. Test the hypothesis by using test T-test
statistics to demonstrate the influence of the independent variable on the dependent variable
partially or individual.
Results of this study found that job satisfaction is significant negative effect on turnover
intention of employees of PT. Capella Medan Padang Branch. Organizational commitment
significant negative effect on turnover intention of employees of PT. Capella Medan Padang
Branch. Work stress significant positive effect on turnover intention of employees of PT. Capella
Medan Padang Branch
