Abstract

The objective of this study is to investigate and demonstrate empirically the influence of motivation, transactional leadership and job satisfaction on work discipline. In this study, the object is the staff of Department of Education, Youth and Sports Solok district. Before testing the hypothesis in advance of data collection and dissemination of information through research questionnaires. The process of distributing questionnaires carried out directly by the researchers. The total number of questionnaires distributed amounts to 69 pieces. Include the total questionnaires in stages into data processing amounted to 56 shares or 81.16% of the total questionnaires distributed in the stages of data processing.
After the testing phase hypotheses based on statistical t-test, it was found that the motivation and transactional leadership no significant effect on the discipline of work and then the variable job satisfaction found to significantly influence the work discipline.
