PENGARUH MASALAH KEAGENAN,KEMUNGKINAN KEBANGKRUTAN, UKURAN PERUSAHAAN DAN PROFITABILITAS TERHADAP PERUBAHAN TINGKAT HUTANG (Studi Empiris Pada Perusahaan Go Publik)

Abstract

This research aims to understand the influence of agency problems, the possibility of bankruptcy, firm size and profitability of the change in the level of debt. The population in this research is manufacturing companies in Indonesia stock exchange (BEI) in 2009-2013. Sample chosen uses a purposive sampling. The total sample as many as 43 companies. Data obtained from the annual report and financial statements of companies manufacturing listed in Indonesia stock exchange (BEI) in 2009-2013. Data were analyzed with technique of multiple linear regressions. The results showed that a variable the possibility of bankruptcy and firm size has no effect significant of the change in the level of debt. While the variable agency problems and profitability of signifikan effect of the change in the level of debt.
