THE EFFECT OF MENTAL WORKLOAD, WORK ENVIRONMENT AND TYPE OF PERSONALITY A TO STRESS EMPLOYEE SUBDISTRICT AND VILLAGE IN THE DISTRICT OF PADANG TIMUR

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of mental workload, work environment and the type
of personality to stress employee A subdistrict and village in the district of Padang Timur. The
sample in this study are employees of the District Office and the East Village in Padang District
totaling 95 people. Techniques used in sampling is a method of census data used is primary data
through questionnaires. Data analysis method used is multiple linear regression analysis. Test the
hypothesis by using test T-test statistics to demonstrate the influence of the independent variable on
the dependent variable partially or individual.
Results of the study found that mental work load positive effect on employee stress. The
working environment should not adversely affect employee stress, and personality type A no
positive effect on employee stress District and village in the district of Padang Timur.
