OPTIMALISASI SISTEM TRANSPORTASI PRODUK OLAHAN KACANG PT.GARUDA FOOD DI KOTA SOLOK DENGAN PENDEKATAN MODEL QUANTITATIVE SYSTEM BUSINESS (STUDI KASUS PT. GARUDA FOOD)

Abstract

The objective of this research was PT.Garuda Food warehouse in the Solok city precisely on Jl. St. Sunan Pamuncak Solok or near Terminal Bareh Solok. This Research aimed to examine whether using transport models can save transportation costs and can determine the shortest route or optimal and whether there is any difference between the cost of transportation before use after transport model by using the model of transport.
Tests carried out using transport models Stepping Stone (Stepping Stone Method). Where the program used is WinQSB. Results from this study showed that using a model of transportation, saving transportation cost and can determine the shortest or optimal route that can be passed or taken by transport warehouse PT.Garuda Food in distributing products. And there is a difference between the cost of transportation before using transport models with after using transport models. The difference in transportation costs in the amount of Rp 2.271.550,-. Where before using the model of transport, warehouse transportation costs PT.Garuda Food / day Rp 3.500.000,- / day and after using transport models, the cost of transportation to Rp 1.228.450,- / day.
