ANALISIS PENYERAPAN TENAGA KERJA WANITA PADA INDUSTRI KUE ELNA DI KOTA BUKITTINGGI

Abstract

Creating jobs are the goal for every area to reduce the number of employment. Particularly of female workers who are sometimes not absorbed by some industries. One way to extend the employment of women workers in particular through the development of labor-intensive industries, such as the food industry that is capable of absorbing the female labor force. It can also reduce income inequality between men and women. The size of labor income is determined by the wages that is given by the company. And companies see how the level of education, work experience, and age of the workforce is capable of providing high productivity. The development of the industry lead to increase production capacity so as to create employment opportunities. The employment of women in industrial cake business in Bukittinggi by using multiple regression analysis. Based on calculation SPSS version 17.0 which indicates that the variable (wage (X1), education (X2), work experience (X3) and age (X4) both partially and simultaneously -Same the dependent variable (employment (Y ). The results of t-test to determine the effect of each variable and the F test to determine the effect together. Great influence of variable (wage (X1), education (X2), work experience (X3) and age (X4) on the dependent variable (absorption labor (Y) amounted to 91.9% while the remaining 8.1% is explained by other factors.
