PENGARUH PERTIMBANGAN PASAR KERJA, PENGAKUAN PROFESIONAL, PELATIHAN PROFESIONAL DAN PENGHARGAAN FINANSIAL TERHADAP PEMILIHAN KARIR SEBAGAI AKUNTAN

Abstract

One of the professions in Indonesia that were targeted by other ASEAN members in ASEAN Economic Community (MEA) are accountants. The purpose of this research is to prove the influence of the considerations of labor market, professional recognition, professional training and financial reward for choosing career as an accountant for accounting students. In this research, accounting student at the BungHatta University, Andalas University, Padang State University, Putra Indonesia University, Ekasakti University and STIE-KBP are used as sample. Purposive sampling method is used in this research.

          This research found the considerations of labor market, professional training and financial rewards significantly affect the choosing career as an accountant. Professional recognition does not significantly affect the choosing career as an accountant.
