Abstract

The purpose of this research is to examine the effects of profitability, leverage, market valuation, and market value added on stock returns. This research uses the 64 companies listing on Indonesian Stock Exchange in the period of 2010-2014. Samples were selected using purposive sampling method. The data analysis technique to test the hypothesis was multiple regression analysis using SPSS version 16.0 for windows. Based on test results, the partial test shows that the variable profitability and leverage significant positive effect on stock returns, while the variable market valuation and market value added do not have effect on stock returns.
