Abstract

Of all the sub-sectors that exist with in the sectors of industries, sub-sectors of the textile and garment industry is a very important industry in Indonesia because this industry is the biggest foreign exchange earner for the country after oil and gas, this is what causes researchers interested in studying sub sectors textiles and the garment. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of DER and EPS on stock returns textile and garment sub-sector listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange in the period 2010-2014. The independent variables used are DER and EPS while for the variable dependent stock return. The sample used in the study as many as 11 companies are classified into sub-sectors of the textile and garment with sample collection techniques that saturation sampling (census). The data used is secondary data obtained from the Directorate of Indonesian capital market. This study used multiple linear regression analysis.
The results obtained from studies conducted that DER no effect on stock returns textile and garment sub-sector and the EPS has no effect on stock returns textile and garment sub-sector.
