ANALISIS PENGARUH PROFITABILITAS, STRUKTUR AKTIVA, UKURAN PERUSAHAAN DAN PERTUMBUHAN PENJUALAN TERHADAP STRUKTUR MODAL (Perusahaan Sub Sektor Logam dan Sejenisnya Yang Terdaftar di BEI Tahun 2011-2014)

Abstract

Necessity of capital is very important in building and sustaining a company, the company must determine how much capital is needed to meet or refinance its operations. This study aims to determine the effect of profitability, asset structure, company size on the company's capital structure and similar metals sub-sectors listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange in the period 2011-2014. The independent variables were used in this study is the profitability, asset structure, company size and sales growth while the dependent variable is the capital structure. The sample used in this study as many as 14 companies using saturation sampling technique. The data used in this research is secondary data obtained from the Indonesian Stock Exchange (IDX). Analysis of the data used in this research is multiple linear regression analysis.
Results obtained from this research that the profitability of a significant negative effect on the capital structure, while the asset structure, company size and sales growth did not affect the capital structure.
