Employee satisfaction is a factor that is considered important because it can affect the overall running of the organization, job satisfaction is also a positive attitude of employees towards various situations in the workplace. The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of the work environment compensation and employee satisfaction in Padang City Health Department. Population and sample in this study as 108 employees. By using the technique of sampling method in which the entire population census made in the research object. The data used is primary data through questionnaires. To perform hypothesis testing is done by using quantitative analysis method through the formation of multiple linear regression model. Based on the results of hypothesis testing is done using SPSS 16 found that compensation and working environments,each a significant effect on job satisfaction.
