Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the influence of leadership style and discipline of work on performance and motivation as an intervening variable (study at elementary School Ulakan Tapakis distrik of the Padang Pariaman area). This research using cencus menthod wid totally 47 teacher of elementary school in the District Ulakan Tapakis Padang Pariaman. Primary data obtained from the questionnaires processed by a multiple linear regression analysis, simple linear regression analysis and linear regression analysis stratified. It was found that the style of leadership and discipline had positive effect on motivation. Style of leadership and discipline positive effect on performance. Motivation had positive effect on performance. Leadership had style positive effect on performance and motivation as an intervening variable. Labor discipline had positive effect on performance and motivation as an intervening variable
