ANALISIS STRUKTUR EKONOMI DAN SEKTOR UNGGULAN PROVINSI SUMATERA BARAT

Abstract

To boost the economy needed ways by the community for the management of the existing resources with the cooperation between the government and private parties and can be used to create jobs and improve the economy in a related area. This study aims to see the leading sectors that use shift share and LQ formula used to see a sector that comparison to the same sector at the national level. Results using shift Share, a sector that specializes in the area and have average growth is faster when compared to the same sector at the national level, there are four sectors namely construction, trade, hotels and restaurants, transport and communication, and financial leasing and business services , , seeded sector: agriculture, mining, construction, and services. In the method, LQ, sectors which are the economic base of West Sumatra province is Sector Services (1,803), agriculture (1,788), the sector of Transport & Communications (1,555), the sector of electricity gas and water (1.445), and the trade sector hotel & restaurants (1,031).
