Abstract

The aim of this research is to examine the effect of job-satisfaction on the individual performance using self-esteem and self-efficacy as the intervening variable. This research is the empirical study of auditors working at public accounting firms in West Sumatra, Riau, and Kepri. Data analysis technique used in this research is structural model examination and hypothesis examination using SEM-PLS as the analysis technique and SmartPLS3.0 as the program. The method used in collecting data is questionnaire. In this research, the samples are 93 respondents who are auditors in the public accounting firms. The samples are selected by using purposive sampling. The results of this research empirically show that (1) the variable of job-satisfaction influences self-esteem and self-efficacy significantly, while the variable of job-satisfaction does not influence the individual performance significantly and (2) self-esteem gives a significant effect on self-efficacy and individual performance, while self-efficacy does not have a significant effect on the individual performance.
