THE INFLUENCE OF COUNCIL BUDGET KNOWLEDGE, PERSONAL BACKGROUND AND POLITICAL BACKGROUND TO REGION FINANCIAL CONTROL

Abstract

This study aims to examinethe influence of council bugdet knowlegde, personal background and political background to region financial control in DPRD Sumbar.The sample in this research are the member of DPRD Sumbar.The data is primary data in form of questionnaire which is given to the respondents. The number of questionnaire are 65, but total of questionnaire that can be processed are 52. The data is analyzed using linear regression analysis.

            The result of this research shows that personal background have a significant effect to the region financial control in DPRD Sumbar. In contrast, council budget knowledge and political background doesn’t havesignificant effect to the region financial control in DPRD Sumbar
