ANALISIS PENGARUH PENDIDIKAN, UPAH MINIMUM DAN PENGANGGURAN TERHADAP KEMISKINAN DI KOTA PADANG

Abstract

ABSTRACT
The phenomenon of poverty occurs when a person is unable to meet the minimum needs of a certain standard of living. This study aimed to determine the effect of education, minimum wage and unemployment to poverty in Padang city . This research is quantitative by using time series data (1997-2012). Types of data used in this study is secondary data obtained from Badan Pusat Statistik and the journals as a supporting research. The regression method used multiple linier regression linier (Ordinary least square) using tools software eviews 8. Testing in done by using the classical assumption that normality tes, multicollinearity test, heteroscedasticity test and autocorrelation test. The statistics testing the coefficient of determination (R2), regression coefficient test (t-test) and F test (F-test). The result analysis and research show that the education and minimum wage rate has influence significantly to poor in Padang City, but unemployment has some insignificant influence to poor in Padang.
