ANALISIS PENGARUH DANA ALOKASI UMUM DAN PENDAPATAN ASLI DAERAH TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN EKONOMI DI KOTA-KOTA PROVINSI SUMATERA BARAT DENGAN BELANJA PEMERINTAH DAERAH SEBAGAI VARIABEL INTERVENING

Abstract

This research aimed to determine to effect of government expenditure in mediating the relationship between General Allocation Fund (DAU) and Regional Generated Revenue (PAD) to the economic growth as measured by the Gross Domestic Product (GDP). The data used in this research are secondary data from 7 cities in the province of West Sumatera period 2006 to 2015. To determine the relationship and influence of each variable we us causal step regression analysis.
The results of this research indicate that simultaneously General Allocation Fund (DAU) and Regional Generated Revenue (PAD) positive and significant effect on the economic growth, General Allocation Fund (DAU) positive and significant meanwhile Regional Generated Revenue (PAD) negative and significant effect on the government expenditure. Furthermore, the research showed that government expenditure did mediate the relationship between General Allocation Fund (DAU) and Regional Generated Revenue (PAD) to the economic growth.
