Police units have the task of helping teachers ' Praja Head area and maintain peace, order, harmony in the community. The provisions of the Municipal Police is regulated in the Teachers Section 255 of the Act Number 23 year 2014 about local governments. One of the tasks of the police unit of teachers ' Praja is eradicate Thuggery in Padang city on the Build ing there are still happening around the coast of sweet water, due to the lack of supervision by Police teachers ' Praja. Formulation of the problem: 1)  how is the role of the Police in the teachers ' Praja eradicate thuggery that occurs in sweet water Beach City of Padang. 2) is a Police Unit encountered obstacles teachers ' Praja in tackling thuggery in the sweet water Beach City of Padang. Research using the juridical sociological. The data source in the form of primary and secondary data. Data collection techniques used are interviews and study documents. The data were analyzed qualitatively. A summary of research results: 1) the role of the Police in the teachers ' Praja eradicate thuggery that occurred in Padang city sweet water Beach is to do a strict supervision Patrol every day from the morning until the afternoon. 2) Constraints encountered Police teachers ' Praja in tackling thuggery in sweet water Beach City of Padang is the limited member units of Police teachers ' Praja and the limited number of patrol vehicles.
