Minangkabau customary criminal law is regulated in the Nan Salapan Law, one of which regulates criminal acts of adultery. Criminal acts of adultery that occurred in the Kumuyang River Nagari, the perpetrators were imposed with customary criminal sanctions in the form of fines and customs. Problem formulation (1) What is the application of criminal penalties for criminal acts of adultery in the Minangkabau customary law in Nagari Sungai Kumuyang Batang Tabik, Luhak District, Fifty Cities? (2) Execution of violators of adultery according to the Minangkabau Customary Law in Nagari Kumuyang Batang Tabik, Luhak District, Lima Puluh Kota District? This study uses a sociological juridical approach. Data sources are sourced from primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques include interviews and document study. Data were analyzed qualitatively. Conclusion. Results of the study (1) The application of fines is decided by the judge, criminal sanctions for fines in the form of 40 sacks of cement, disposal of customs and detention of STNK. (2) Execution of fine payments. Beginning with the perpetrator meeting Niniak Mamak in the office of Wali Jorong, Wali Jorong sent the youth to announce in the musholla so that the community would witness the process of submitting the fine. The surrender of fines is given by the perpetrator before the adat leader and the perpetrator apologizes to the community, with the fine paid by the judge stating that the perpetrator of the PT is brought again in sahilia-samudiak, as well as the submission of the STNK to BY.
