THE IMPLEMENTATION OF MOTORIZED VEHICLE TESTING ON FREIGHT TRANSPORT BY THE TRANSPORTATION COMMUNICATION AND INFORMATICS DEPARTMENT OF PADANG CITY
Abstract
In the process of providing facilities of transportasion for the public must be in decent condition as set in statue number 22 of 2009 concerning traffic and transportation. In thesis writing the author examines related to problem formulation as : 1. How is the implementation of motorized vehicle testing on freight transport by the transportation communication and informatics department of padang city. 2. What obstacles are encountered in the implementation of motorized vehicle testing on freight transport by the transportation communication and informatics department of padang city. 3. What are efforts made to overcome in the implementation of motorized vehicle testing on freight transport by the transportation communication and informatics department of padang city. The research method that I use is sociological juridical with descriptive qualitative analysis using primary and secondary data. 1. Stage of the implementation of motorized vehicle testing on freight transport that is registration, administrative checking, physical inspection of the vehicle, and vehicle technical testing. 2. Obstacles found in the implementation of motorized vehicle testing are insufficient facilities and infrastructure, service users are not disciplined, lack of supervision of bribe practices. 3. Efforts made by improving the quality of transparent facities and services and accurate result, provide training and education to examiners, the testing process must be according to standard, oversee the possibility of bribe.
