Natural gas is the result of natural processes in the form of hydrocarbons under conditions of pressure and atmospheric temperature in the form of gas phases obtained from the oil and gas mining process. Gas processing is regulated in Article 23 paragraph (2). In Padang City successfully uncovered the case of subsidized gas processing to be non-subsidized. Padang City Resort Police managed to secure as many as 400 gas cylinders. Research problems: 1) How does the police of Padang city resort in the enforcement of subsidized gas processing law become non-subsidized? 2) Are the constraints encountered by the Padang City Resort Police in enforcing the law of processing subsidized gas to be non-subsidized? This study used a sociolegal approach. Data sources include primary and secondary data. Researchers used interviews and document studies to collect data. Data was analyzed qualitatively. Conclusion of research results 1) Law enforcement by the Padang city police force against perpetrators of subsidized gas processing becomes non-subsidized with repressive efforts such as arresting the perpetrators of subsidized gas processing and preventive measures such as counseling to the public. 2) The obstacles encountered by the police of Padang city resort in law enforcement are the lack of public awareness in providing information, lack of legal awareness of the community and lack of operational funds, adequate facilities to support police duties in the field.
